The inspiration for this artwork comes from the painting “San Giorgio Maggiore at Dusk” by the impressionist Monet.
It depicts a cathedral that is silhouetted by a stricking colourful sunset. This painting is mixed with a bit of surrealism, since this image does not exist in the real world. The combination of the 2 styles makes it seem like this place might be real.
