What a state of happiness it is to be in an October forest! It’s really peaceful and gorgeous here. Underfoot, foliage rustles. Next to a birch, conceals itself beneath a maple leaf. White fungi… The leaves of a large orange maple are interwoven with those of a little yellow birch. What a pleasure it is to stand beneath such lovely trees, inhaling fresh air and listening to the sound of the breeze.
