Landscape painting might be intimidating at first, especially if you aren’t comfortable with painting trees, which are a prevalent feature in landscape paintings. However, blending greens is one of the key challenges that can derail your landscape painting. Greens are a challenge for novices, and the temptation to take a bright green from the paintbox is strong.

I would like to try in my painting how to generate subtle greens with ostensibly ‘non-green’ colors like black and brown.
