This painting was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s “Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers.” Expressiveness and luminosity have been the master’s goals when painting nature. Flowers in oil are depicted at various phases of development: from their initial blossoming to total fading. And it is possibly the very wholesome “blooming” artwork in contemporary history.
