Venice is a lovely mystery for travelers who have visited and those who have yet to see. Venice, one of the world’s most unique cities, was built on 118 islands in the Venetian Lagoon at the head of the Adriatic Sea in Northern Italy. It appears implausible that such a grand city could float on the surface of a lagoon of water, reeds, and marshes. This is a location that must be seen to be believed.
