Being genuinely free, unfettered, and airborne is something invaluable in today’s modern world. It’s hard to find a moment where we aren’t tied to our obligations or driven by our work or confined by our own or other’s expectations of us. While these responsibilities are inevitably restraining, constricting, and imprisoning, they seem an unavoidable part of life. For precisely that reason, while it may be nothing more than a futile dream, it’s worth imagining an escape, to a life free and entirely uninhibited, sort of like that of a youthful and blithe bird.
