This painting is inspired by the original
The great boulevards by Renoir.
The original painting illustrates a busy Paris boulevard and it was nice to rework this subject in my style.
I like to play around with more vibrant colors and loser brush strokes but trying to maintain the original composition and light and shadow.
As Renoir did, I also wanted to focus on the light shining on the trees, and also the shadows created by the people as well as the horse-drawn carriage.
